Owner Mike Schlapkohl brings over 13 years of experience in the general contracting & custom home building industry. His passion for construction, attention to detail, and commitment to doing things the right way are the foundation of every home we build. Alongside his wife Shannen, Mike leads Grand Vision Homes with integrity, creativity, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction – our #1 priority.

As parents of three very active kids, Mike and Shannen understand firsthand how important it is to have a well-built, functional home that can grow with your family. That real-life perspective drives our approach to designing and building homes that are durable, comfortable, and tailored to your lifestyle.

We specialize in bringing our customers' visions to life. From the initial idea to the final walkthrough, we work closely with you every step of the way – and we believe the process should be enjoyable, collaborative, and even fun.

Shannen is a licensed real estate agent with an exceptional eye for design. When she's not busy buying and selling homes, she's often helping our clients with interior design ideas, selections, and finishes, ensuring every detail feels cohesive and uniquely yours.
